The staff were really friendly, which I always appreciate because it just makes the whole experience feel easier and more comfortable. Everyone I interacted with was nice, welcoming, and easy to talk to, so I never felt awkward or like I was bothering anyone. It’s a simple thing, but it makes a big difference when people are genuinely pleasant

The food was fine, I guess. Not awful, but nothing that made me sit up and go, damn, this is good. The fish seemed fresh enough, but the seasoning was bland as hell, like it just gave up halfway. Fries were okay too, just regular little whatever fries. I’d probably try something else next time instead of this boring-ass combo.

The food tasted good overall, but it felt a bit pricey for what it was. I also got kind of annoyed because the communication around the pricing wasn’t very clear, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect until I paid. Not a bad experience, just wish things had been explained better.

Ordered from Brown Bag Seafood and, they nailed it. Nothing was missing, no weird mix-ups, and even the little add-ons I picked were all there. Food was packed fine and matched what I ordered online. I guess I have to blame them for making me expect every takeout order to be this easy now.

I love how many options Brownbag Seafood has. It’s not the kind of place where you’re stuck choosing between one or two basic fish dishes — they’ve got bowls, tacos, sandwiches, salads, sides, and plenty of ways to make it your own.

I’ve been a few times now, and every visit makes me feel more confident recommending it. The grilled salmon bowl was really good, but the crispy fish tacos were probably my favorite so far.

It’s just nice to have a seafood spot that feels fresh, easy, and not boring at all. They clearly know what they’re doing, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. 5 stars from me.

But the thing I keep noticing is that it’s not always the same. One day the portions seem good, the next day they feel smaller. One day the seasoning hits, the next day it’s just kind of bland.

When it’s good, it’s really good and everything comes out hot, but then other times it’s just average, which is a little frustrating. Not terrible, not something I’d complain about too much, but the inconsistency is definitely noticeable. I just wish it was more reliable because I keep having the same issue every time I go. I’d still stop by if I’m nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

It’s a solid option when I don’t feel like cooking.

Maybe they were just having an off day, but I don’t think I’d be in a hurry to go back.
